Managing Director

An organization continually draws upon the resources of society and environment for its sustenance. That it should give back something in return is not only fair and righteous, but absolutely imperative for its own continuity. As captains of industry, acknowledging responsibility towards our immediate society and the environment at large is thus both a conscientious decision and a matter of informed choice. Corporate Social Responsibility has always been pivotal to MPL’s aspirations for inclusive development. over the years, we have undertaken many socially relevant initiatives and in our own small way tried to make a positive difference. We remain committed to the cause of CSR, not to be swayed or deterred by adversities, come what may.
Our guiding philosophy has been that we should actively undertake activities that benefit the society. Manikaran Power Limited has been a strong believer of making a positive contribution to the society by working closely with multiple stakeholders, and extending its help on issues such as education, healthcare, environment sustainability. Our approach has been to enhance prosperity in the community by empowering the people, working together with them as partners, building their skills and capabilities, and putting the local resources to the best use for a sustainable development.

Some of the initiatives we have undertaken over the last few years.

EDUCATION TO

Underprivileged Person

Education is the basic need of the society. Manikaran Power Limited has been extending its helping hand to those who are deprived of the basic education in whatever way is possible through various NGO’s who work towards the motive of providing awareness in the remote areas and to provide a setup to the children’s coming from underprivileged community of the society. We also take initiative towards providing financial help to children’s of financially week families for higher education in college/universities.

With every fifth Indian still below the poverty line, the country needs to take huge strides to alleviate poverty and Manikaran Power Limited is committed to do its part in alleviating poverty in India by providing them Education, Skills etc

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

Programmes

While there is an urgent need for skill training across the country, the absence of sufficient training avenues prevents the people from acquiring skill training through formal channels. As a result, most of the skill acquisition takes place through informal channels such as family occupation, on-the-job training under master craftsman, etc. These skills go unrecognized as they are not acquired through formal means and are never formally recognized. This prevents some section of skilled workforce from accessing formal employment opportunities, utilizing their experience to further taking up educational course and benefitting from other career progression opportunities available through formal training system.
Vocational Skill development programmes is a step of MPL as the process of recognizing previous/ prior learning, often experiential, towards gaining a qualification. The program trains, assesses and provides counseling to those who have skills and potential to grow.

ENVIRONMENT

Sustainability

People need nature- and for over 12 years, Manikaran Power Limited has been working to protect it. Through cutting edge science, innovative policy and global reach, promoting green energy. We empower people to protect the nature that we rely on for food, fresh water, air and livelihoods. Vocational Skill development programmes is a step of MPL as the process of recognizing previous/ prior learning, often experiential, towards gaining a qualification. The program trains, assesses and provides counseling to those who have skills and potential to grow.
